The Indian Summer design was inspired by a tree motif we found in a larger, more elaborate fabric during our first visit to India. India is a feast of colour and pattern and this appropriated a small element of that rich visual experience. The fabric is pure, natural linen and is printed by hand in small runs in an open-air studio surrounded by rice fields in Tamil Nadu, India.
